Type of information we collect
Photos for life photography collect and stores a selection of personal information about you when you contact us, or book a shoot and throughout your relationship with us. This information includes, name, email, billing details, phone number, a record of communications, purchase history, comments, feedback, reviews, and sometimes dates of birth.
We may also take the names of all the participants of a photo shoot.
In addition we may use third party software tools to analyse website traffic to help us understand and improve our business and these services collect anonymized data which includes the IP address of your computer, computer and connection information, search terms used, page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information and methods used to browse away from the page.  

How we collect information
When you contact us through the forms on our website, we collect the information you give us about yourself, such as your name and email address. All personal information will be used by us in the conduct of our business.
Sometimes we may receive your personal information from a third party, such as when someone buys a gift voucher for you and we will use this information to supply the service purchased.

We collect your personal information for the following reasons
1. To provide and operate our photography business.
2. To provide customer assistance.
3. To be able to contact our visitors and clients with general or personalized photography related notices and promotional messages.
4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal information, which we or our business partners may use to provide improve our respective services.
5. To comply with any laws and regulations.     

How we store, use, share and disclose our site visitor’s personal information
We host our website with wix.com and data entered onto forms on the site will be stored in wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general wix.com’s applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
If you email us, your data will be stored on our email providers secure server.
We may also store your data on our own secure password protected computer.
All direct payment gateways offered by wix.com and used by our website adhere to the standards set by the PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like MasterCard and Visa to help ensure the secure handling of credit card information.
If you contact us via Facebook your details will be stored in our Facebook account on secure servers and on our password protected office computer. Facebook may also store your information and as this is out with our control we suggest that you read Facebook’s privacy policy.
We may also store your data on secure password protected back up drives.

We may also disclose your details to our printers or product suppliers when we require them to post to you directly.
We will share your details including name, address and possibly phone number and email address with postal delivery services if we have to post you an order.
We will share your information with law enforcement agencies if we have a legal obligation to do so.
We may also share financial information with our accountant and our financial service providers.
In any dispute with you, we may share your information with our legal adviser.
We may share your details if we sell or merge our business with another entity.

Feedback and testimonials may be posted onto our website and used in other marketing avenues.
Our website designer has access to our wix.com account and therefore may have access to any data held there.

All these entities will only process your personal data on our instructions and must keep it confidential.

We do not share, sell, or lease your details to any marketing companies.

International transfers of your personal data
The EU has prohibited personal data being transferred outside of the EEA unless sufficient data safety laws exist. Some of our third party service providers are based outside of the EEA. So using these services will involve a transfer of data outside of the EEA.

Companies based in USA are generally part of the US/EU Privacy Shield agreement and we will transfer data to them as they have similar security protection to the EEA.
We will only use third parties outside of EEA/USA who use certification mechanisms approved by the EU giving your data the same security as in the EU.
If we have to transfer your personal data to a third party/country without adequate protection as defined by the EU we will request your explicit consent. You will have the right to cancel this consent at any time.

How long will we keep your personal details?
As a photography business, we aim to keep your personal information for an undetermined period of time. This is for your benefit, as you may need to replace some of the images you have bought in the future or buy some of the images you did not buy originally.
As stated elsewhere in this document you have the right to contact us to have this data deleted or altered.
However, we reserve the right to delete your data at any point after we are allowed to do so by law and are under no obligation to keep your images or data forever.

Please note: all images are the copyright of Photos For Life Photography and we may do anything the law allows us to do with them including deleting them at any time. We are under no obligation to delete your images if you ask us to. However, we will evaluate any request to do so on its merits with Photos For Life Photography being the sole judge of those merits.

This is how we communicate with our site visitors
We may contact you in response to enquires and in relation to your photo shoot or purchases, to send you a small number of marketing messages, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to gain feedback of your experience, to send you updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our user agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. In relation to these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and letter.

Third party applications on our site may place cookies on your machine to deliver their services and to enhance the visitor experience and help us to better understand and deliver a superior service to our clients.
